- Use ventilation, filtration or specialty treatment where the condition justifies it.
- Judge the result after the property returns to ordinary temperature and HVAC operation.
Air-treatment equipment can be useful, but persistent odor can return if surfaces or porous materials continue releasing odor-producing compounds.
